WHO ARE WE?
The Catholic RCIA Mission Origin
To evangelize using Church Tours along with giving an invitation to Mass after each tour.

This Catholic RCIA Mission is a project started by Lay Catholics with our Parishes permission in 2004 by the RCIA team in Logan Utah. (Saint Thomas Catholic Church) Originally known as the Utah Mission. It was created in order to reach out to the whole community known as Cache Valley. Many of the questions found at this website (Common Questions) were questions that the LDS had their own answers to in what they were taught. We wanted to give anyone who was honestly interested the correct answers as best we could. We gave tours of our Church on the first Tuesday of each month. We would hand out the invitational trifold at the end of each tour. We also ran radio invitations as part of the overall Evangelization efforts. I myself spent 14 fantastic years helping others like me as a team RCIA member, to have an encounter with Jesus.

The Vision / Your Vision as well / Always Welcome

To equip the Catholic faithful for evangelization through our efforts to spread the truth, share the beauty of our faith. It is not a Mission of brick and mortar. It is a Catholic RICA lay Mission that comes from the heart. Its Mission is to give little treasures, little treasures that I myself and others were given many years ago during our own conversions to Christ. During our journeys through the RCIA. This Mission is open for discussion, new ideas, in order to help others, find what you and I have found. What we all treasure in this magnificent life in Christ.

PRAYER BEFORE A CRUCIFIX
Look down upon me, good and gentle Jesus
while before Your face I humbly kneel and,
with burning soul,
pray and beseech You
to fix deep in my heart lively sentiments
of faith, hope, and charity;
true contrition for my sins,
and a firm purpose of amendment.

While I contemplate,
with great love and tender pity,
Your five most precious wounds,
pondering over them within me
and calling to mind the words which David,
Your prophet, said to You, my Jesus:

"They have pierced My hands and My feet,
they have numbered all My bones."

Amen.
